Day 1:Sofia – Troyan / v. Chiflika / Arrival at Sofia International Airport. Meet and assist. Trip to the town of Troyan. Accommodation in a 3 * hotel in Chiflika village situated 22 km. from Troyan. The village is famous for its hot mineral water spring. Dinner and overnight. Day 2:Troyan After breakfast trip to the town of Troyan – one of the biggest bulgarian craft centers. Visit the Troyan monastery – the third biggest and significant in Bulgaria. “Fishing” competition in the area.Lunch in a local restaurant.In the afternoon “Water ball” competition in the outdoor mineral water swimming pool in front the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant of the hotel with the cached from you fish. Announce and award the winners from the “Fishing” competition. Overnight. Day 3:Troian - Veliko Tarnovo. After breakfast trip to the town of Veliko Tarnovo - the former capital of Bulgaria. The town is picturesquely situated along the river Jantra. Visit the architectural reserve of Tsarevetz famous for its Medieval fortress wall and gates, with “Baldiun” tower, the ruins of the Palace, the ruins of the old church; visit Trapesitza hill with the numerous Medieval churches and buildings excavated there, the Ethnographic museum. Lunch. Dinner and overnight in the town of Veliko Tarnovo. Day 4:Veliko Tarnovo – Arbanasi village – Kmetovci After breakfast visit the Arbanasi village famous for its Revival architecture and the superb wood carvings in its 17th century churches. Lunch in Arbanaci. Trip to the village of Kmetovci. On the way visit the Drianovo monastery. Accommodation in hotel “ Fenerite ” in Kmetovci – the biggest trade, craft and cultural center of the area in 19th century. Dinner in the tavern of the hotel. Overnight. Day 5:Kmetovci After breakfast team competition - “Tourist orientation” in the region of hotel. Lunch. In the afternoon trip to the Bojenci village – architectural reserve. Dinner in a traditional for the region folk-style restaurant with authentic music and for those who want – learn to dance “Horo” – Bulgarian national dance. Announce and award the winners from the “Tourist orientation”. Overnight. Day 6:Kmetovci – Gabrovo – Etara - Sofia After breakfast trip to the town of Gabrovo, a big industrial and cultural center, famous for its leather and textile workshops and with the opening of the first nonclerical school in Bulgaria in 1835. Visit the Etara - Ethnographic museum in the open, with Revival buildings and workshops still functioning. Those who want can prove their skills in the copper workshop. After lunch back to Sofia. Accommodation in a 4 * hotel. Farewell dinner.Visit a performance of the famous Bulgarian folk ensemble “Cosmic voices”. Overnight. Day 7:Sofia After breakfast sightseeing tour of Sofia – Visit “ Al. Nevski” cathedral, “ St. Sofia” church, National art gallery. Transfer to the airport for departure.
