Sofia - Veliko Tarnovo - Gabrovo - Kazanlak - Stara Zagora - Plovdiv - Pamporovo - Plovdiv - Sofia

Day 1: Sofia
Arrival Sofia international airport. Meet and assist . Transfer to hotel. Sightseeing tour of Sofia. Visit “Al. Nevsky” cathedral; “Saint Sofia” church . Lunch in the town. Visit National art gallery; National History museum. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 2: Sofia - Veliko Tarnovo
Trip to the town of Veliko Tarnovo, the former capital of Bulgaria. The town is picturesquely situated along the river Jantra. Visit the architectural reserve of Tsarevetz with medieval footers wall and gates, with “Baldiun” tower , the ruins of the Palace, the ruins of the old church; visit Trapesitza hill with the numerous medieval churches and buildings excavated there, the Ethnographic museum housed in the inn of “Nikola Hadji”. Lunch. Dinner and overnight in the town of Veliko Tarnovo.
Day 3: Veliko Tarnovo – Arbanasi village - Gabrovo - Etara
Visit the Arbanasi village characteristic with revival period architecture and the superb wood carvings in its 17th century churches. Lunch in Arbanacy.
Trip to the town of Gabrovo, a big industrial and cultural center, famous for its leather and textile workshops and with the opening of the first nonclerical school in Bulgaria in 1835. Visit the Etara ethnographic museum park with revival buildings and workshops still functioning. Dinner and overnight in Etara.
Day 4: Etara – Kazanlak – Stara Zagora
Trip to the town of Kazanlak, the largest town in the Valley of Roses. Visit the Museum of the Rose Industry and the Tracian Tomb, including frescoes depicting battle scenes and other issues of the time of the late fourth or early third century BC, protected by UNESCO. Dinner and overnight in Stara Zagora.
Day 5: Stara Zagora - Plovdiv - Pamporovo
Trip to the town of Plovdiv for lunch. Dinner and overnight in Pamporovo, which is one of the most beautiful Bulgarian mountain resorts. Situated at 1350 m above the sea level in the Rodophi mountains Pamporovo attracts many tourist all the year round.
Day 6: Pamporovo - Plovdiv
Trip to the town of Plovdiv. On the way stop at the Bachkovo monastery built in 1083 by the Bakyriani brothers from Georgia. This monastery contains a rich library and musium collection.
Sightseeing tour of Plovdiv. Visit the Old town of Plovdiv, the roman amphitheatre. Lunch. Visit Ethnographic Museum . Dinner and overnight in Plovdiv.
Day 7: Plovdiv - Sofia
After breakfast back to Sofia. Free time. Farewell dinner and overnight in Sofia.
