Sofia - Borovets - Rila monastery - Bansko - Sandanski - Melnik - Sofia

Day 1: Sofia – Borovets
Arrival at Sofia International Airport. Meet and Assist. Transfer to Borovets, one of the most famous and largest ski centers in Bulgaria, situated in the northern part of Rila mountain. Accommodation in 3 * / 4 * hotel. Visit the former King’s Residence “Tzarska Bistrica”. Dinner and overnight in Borovets.
Day 2: Borovets - Rila monastery - Bansko
After breakfast travel south to the Rila monastery, the biggest and most significant monastery in Bulgaria / under the protection of UNESCO /. Lunch in a traditional restaurant near the monastery. In the afternoon travel to the town of Bansko. Accommodation in a 3 * hotel in Bansko. Dinner in the tavern of the hotel with live music. Overnight .
Day 3: Bansko
After breakfast team competition - “ Tourist orientation” in the Pirin mountain. Picnic in the mountain with a special program. After lunch sightseeing in Bansko with its Revival houses and cobbled streets. Visit the biggest in South Bulgaria church “Sveta Troitza”- now a national monument, the History museum. Dinner in a traditional for the region folk-style restaurant with authentic music and for those who want – learn to dance “Horo” – Bulgarian national dance. Announce and award the winners from the “Tourist orientation”. Overnight.
Day 4: Bansko - Sandanski
After breakfast trip to the town of Sandanski - a balneological and climatic resort. Visit the residence of the former Bulgarian socialist leaders, now a five star hotel situated amongst a beautiful garden with exotic plants. Lunch in the restaurant of the residence. After lunch “Sport shooting” competition. Free time. Dinner and overnight in a 3* hotel.
Day 5: Sandanski - Melnik
After breakfast trip to the place “Rupite” and visit the church “St. Petka”. Travel to Rozen monastery famous with the unique copy of “Deva Maria” icon and impressive wooden iconostasis.Lunch in a traditional restaurant near the monastery. Trip to the town of Melnik, the smallest town in Bulgaria, known as a town - architectural museum. The town is famous for its red wines and Melnik pyramids - natural sand sculptures, surrounding the town. Accommodation in a 3 * hotel. Visit Kordopulovas house - traditional Bulgarian trade house with impressive wine cellars. Professional wine taste in the cellar of the house. Dinner in traditional tavern. Overnight.
Day 6: Melnik – Sofia
After breakfast back to Sofia. Lunch in a restaurant in “Varosha” - the old town of Blagoevgrad. Travel to Sofia.. Accommodation in a 4 * hotel. Farewell dinner. Visit a performance of the famous Bulgarian folk ensemble “Cosmic voices”.Overnight.
Day 7: Sofia
After breakfast sightseeing tour of Sofia - Visit “Al. Nevskly” cathedral, “St. Sofia” church, National art gallery. Free time. Transfer to the airport for departure.
